Absolute Magic

If you play RPGs and haven't checked out Pendragon then you're either a D20 lunatic who is unwilling to consider alternatives, or you haven't yet ventured into the wide word beyond D&D.
Pendragon is a rich, character-driven game set in dark age Britain. The game focuses much more on character development, story, history, and the other facets of a true game.
This book is a complete campaign--more than one, actually. It is 90+ years of adventures and scenarios. Each scenario comprises 1 or more game sessions. Do the math: there's a ton of information and playing ideas in this book.
If you like King Arthur, faerie magic, and the whole mystique of that mythos - and you like RPG - then pick up this and the Pendragon rulebook immediately.

Epic Adventure

Absolutely breathtaking. As the gamemaster, I've only taken my players through the first section (the Uther Pendragon period), and they are ecstatic. Seasoned gamers (25+ years of experience) are calling this the best campaign they have ever played. This has a truly epic scope to it - at least two years of real-world play that builds, and builds and builds. It is intoxicating and profound.
