This is book two in the Riding with Honor series, I loved book one but felt like this one missed the mark. Dana has known one thing her entire life that she wants kids but she is unable to have her own. So when a baby is placed with her she is ecstatic. Tommy loves his daughter even if she's a handful so when he finds out while hoping to make it work with Gretchen's mother that she got pregnant again he is more than happy to take care of his child especially since Gretchen and the baby's mother couldn't care less about them. Imagine the surprise when Dana finds out that the baby she was hoping for is Gretchen one of her students sister and handsome Tommy's daughter. After the blow that Dana and Tommy find, they both have to move on to new dreams realizing quickly that these new dreams are better than they could have imagined. So why three stars well I'm not sure I just couldn't quite connect with the characters I flew through this book but towards the middle of this book I didn't love the main characters like I was hoping. Maybe it's because I had such high hopes after reading book one. I didn't hate it I was just hoping for more especially from Tommy. I will still read the rest of this series and I'm hoping it gets better with each book. Now having said that The book wasn't horrible, we get all the characters from book one and almost a continuation from book one. I also don't regret reading this book at all and felt like the author is defiantly growing in her writing style. I am really excited to see how this series developes and to see the rest of the characters getting their hea.

Great Read! This author just gets better....

What a great read, this author just gets better with each book. The H Tommy - his character just grows and grows on you, this sensitive good man who is also a Motorcycle riding Hottie. The heroine Dana - she's also go it going on. And the little one, Gretchen - what a hoot. A great plot, that had some unexpected tender moments, a tear here and there from this reader...and some great sex scenes. Anxious for the next book in the series.

When I read stories about guys that ride bikes I have to admit that I expect a little something more. Something gritty with a rough alpha male. I just didn't get that from this book. This book was so unbearable that it took me 3 weeks to finish it. I'll have to pass on all books by this author.

Great job

Ok Nako you are becoming one of my favorites! My only issue is the length of the books! I know I can't expect much for .99 but I would gladly pay $6.00 or more to just get the entire book! I hate waiting to get part 2 then paying 2.99 then 6.00 for part 3! The length of the books ,the waiting for the other parts, and paying the different prices is the main reason I haven't read part 3 of your last book. Sorry I had to vent but I did love the book!

I am not even done with the book, but this must be said. You have to be 35 years old to run for President of the United States. Antwon kept saying he was only 30, so that right there made the book very very very hard to relate to. Maybe a rewrite needs to happen to correct that.

Concise coverage of Ext JS 5

If you are new to Ext JS, this book is a great starting point for learning Ext JS 5.x.

Each chapter covers a specific topic or concept. It's best to read the first few chapters sequentially. Chapters 1 & 2 provide a good overview Ext JS and the framework. Other chapters walk you through what you need to know to build a fairly complete Ext JS application. The book comes with a sample application, with downloadable source from publisher, containing complete source code. Parts of the application are presented in the text in code fragments. The last chapter covers both unit testing and automated integration testing, which, in my opinion, is a very important topic.

If you are an experienced Ext JS developer, the book will not be as useful. But if you are new to it, this is a great way to get started with Ext JS 5. Keep in mind that you have to consider each topic discussed as a starting point to explore Ext JS further, since the book is not intended to provide comprehensive coverage of all of Ext JS features.

The book is mainly targeted towards those that are new to Ext JS but have a good software development foundation. If you have experience with object oriented programming languages and basic JavaScript, it will greatly assist you in picking up the concepts presented fairly quickly.

Currently the best ExtJS 5 book

The best ExtJS 5 book currently around. I brought this book after meeting one of the co-authors (Andrew Duncan) at SenchaCon on the day it was released. He impressed me so much that I decided to buy it. It hasn't disappointed. It does exactly what the title claims. It really does provide essential information in a different way to most technical books by taking the reader through the thought process of how and why to use this powerful and complex framework. It does this with an easy one-on-one style. Well structured and certainly not just a rehash of the standard ExtJS documentation that you often find with technical books.
I would absolutely recommend that you buy this book.

Sencha Ext JS is an excellent multi-device JavaScript framework for advanced web programmers developing business applications. This book is perfect introduction. Concise and clear. After you have read it, you will know main concepts of framework and you can write your own first apps.

Lower Your Expectations

I'm disappointed in the narrative in this book. It is bare bones information and not much to go on if you're hoping to plan your own "drives of a lifetime." Even the photos are a bit disappointing, mainly because there are only a couple for each drive and I'm not sure they give a really accurate sense of what you'll find. If I'm going to spend my limited resources and time to travel afar to get to one of these road trips, I'm going to want a lot more information. This book barely gives me a start.

That said, it's worth thumbing through once or twice. Maybe it will provide a bit of inspiration. But don't expect more than that; in fact, don't expect too much of that.

I love travel books -- travel literature, guidebooks, picture books. This one is ok. But I definitely don't love it.

NOT useful for travel planning

This book was a disappointment. Yes, it is beautiful and entertaining and would be a lovely addition to any coffee table. But I purchased it with the idea of using it as a travel planner, a use for which it sadly disappoints. The drives are not organized or cross referenced in any useful manner. Some drives are 5 miles long. One was 10 weeks long. Some receive an entire page of dense text. Some get a 2" square blurb. Descriptive, yes. Useful, no. I sent it back.
